Who benefits resource explotation in the DRC?
In 2002, the Group undertook a detailed, independent investigation into resource exploitation and conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In November 2002 this was followed by the publication of a comprehensive report entitled 'Cursed by Riches: Who Benefits from Resource Exploitation in the Demopcratic Republic of Congo', which includes detailed analysis and hard - hitting recommendations to the UK Government.
